Whilst most training providers offer a reliable and efficient service, our approach to understanding your business ensures that we fly above our competitors. Instead of offering you an off the shelf package, we understand your business needs and the skills of your staff first. This means that we are able to provide training that has real impact. We achieve this by offering the following:

Focused training steps

  1. Assessment - assess your key business drivers and where the delegates are now.
  2. Pre-course learning - online or paper-based reading, exercises and case study.
  3. Short training intervention - concentrate on one/two key issues. Up to one day of training including tutor-led input, discussion and case study or skills practice.
  4. On site coaching - approximately four weeks later - on site/job observation and/or coaching on a one to one or two basis.
  5. Final assessment - assess improvement in delegates and further areas to work on.

  • An understanding of why people resist change and how to overcome barriers
    • Group discussion – experiences of managing change
  • An overview of change management principles
    • Group exercise on applying key principles to the restructure

11.00 – 11.15 – Coffee break

  • Identifying and utilising key drivers for change
  • Exploring different change management strategies
    • Group exercise – developing red and green card behaviours

13.00 – 13.30 – Lunch

  • Overcoming resistance to change
  • Developing and implementing a change management strategy
    • Group exercise – developing a change management strategy for the Children’s Services restructure

15.00 – 15.15 – Tea Break

  • Evaluating the impact of change and modifying the approach when necessary
  • Review of individual learning log and agree next steps
